• William de Hustedon, born ca 1040 in England, died 1105 - forerunner of the Hickson/Hixons.
• Thomas Hickson, born before 1380. Thomas was named in A Middlewich Chartulary as a Chamberlain for 1403-4 and again for 1407-8 for Middlewich. A burgess of Middlewich in 1414/15.
• Hugh Hickson, born ca. 1380. A butcher of Middlewich.
• Stephen Hickson, born before 1381. He was Lord of the Manor and is recorded as having lands in Cheshire in 1381.
• Thomas Hickson, born ca 1520, lived at White Church, Salop.
• Christopher Hickson, born before 1553 in Cambridgeshire, married Miss Hussey and died 1638. The Hicksons of Fermoyle - The Rev. Christopher Hickson, Treasurer of Ardfert and Rector of Stradbally and Kilgobbin before 1641, said to have been descended out of Cambridgeshire, ...

• George Hickson, born before 1630, married Elizabeth who was buried 26 August 1643 in St George's parish church, Doncaster.
• Richard Hickson, born before 1640, of Barkston or Barkstone in the Willows near Grantham. The almshouses in Barkestone, for six people, were founded in 1640, by Richard Hickson, who endowed them with a yearly rent-charge of £43 out of land at Greetham, in Rutland, viz £40 for the almspeople and £3 for repairs.
