- Matthew Hickson of Stubenville, Ohio in the 1930s owned a store and
had two twin girls. They were cousins to John Hickson of Detroit
- Elmer Hixon (1863-1950s) of Boon, Wexford County, married Daisy Mae Potts.
His father is thought to have been called John.
