He married Martha (maiden name unknown) and they had 7 children,
John was buried 11th December 1781 in Ince
Their son, John, also married someone called Martha which makes things a bit confusing. Her maiden name was Sumner and they married 27th December 1773 in Davenham, Cheshire.
