There were three Richard Hickson/Hixon living in Frodsham who were born between 1566 & 1600, but no more until 1627. From the Wills of the only 2 whose Wills have been found we have:

... that both were called Richard the younger, so presumably both had a father called Richard as well, possibly still living, however sometimes "the younger" can refer to a nephew.
