2nd June 1878. He served in the Royal Engineers and later ran a tobacconists' shop.
He married Florence Diana Langton and died 2nd December 1964 in Wyton, Huntingdonshire
- John Hickson, born 10th January 1902, died October 1985 in the Swindon area
- Minnie Hickson, born 15th October 1894, died 16th October 1994 in Swindon.
She is thought to have married a John Hickson when he was aged 45.
