Between 22nd November and 21st December we had made no plans, nothing booked.

We had arranged open bus passes and 29 night NZ HotelPass tokens from economy to 5 star, about 8 of each.

We used "Seat in a Coach" or a New Zealand "Travel Pass" to tour the North Island, but first we had to get to Picton from Queenstown.

We travelled across the country to Oamaro on the East Coast.
