Honourable Herr Burgomeister,
In the matter of an inheritance question, respectfully ask for a kind communication from you stating whether either in the Archives or Church Registers of Freidrichstadt information can be found as to the parents of Franz August Christoph Berg, born at Friedrichstadt, 21 Dec. 1748 and whether anything can be ascertained thereform regarding the marriage of one Franz Berg with Isabella Anne, born Hasfeld.
Should the information required to extantvin the Friedrichstadt Archives, I beg you to have copies thereof made at my expense and to forward same to me.
Perhaps it may also be ascertainable who the mother of Isabella Anne Hasfeld was and especially whether she was of a noble family "Von Hasfeld".
If no answer to my questions can be drawn from the Town Archives, may I ask you to transmit these same questions to the Catholic, Lutheran and Reformed Church Pastors, so that the investigation may be further pursued?
You will be good enough to let me know the expenses incurred.
