Niagara Falls

Some of these photos were taken from a tunnel in the rocks, some (in the mist or spray) from the boat "Maid of the Mist" (shown in the first picture), and others from the bank.

Toronto's CN Tower - the highest tower in the world (it was very cloudy)

On 28th August there was a fire in Moscow's Ostankino Tower, the next tallest tower in the world, which started nearly two thirds of the way up. It spread through its electronic cables as helicopters tried to extinguish the flames. It remained standing.

We then travelled by Greyhound bus to Ottawa.
