Some of the Activities we have arranged
Walks along Studland Beach for the older folk, with chauffeurs for those who need them
or an exciting day on the beach for the young.
A Treasure Hunt - details to be organised later.
A barbeque for the young.
Visit(s) - to be organised later.
A 10 mile cycle ride, if you feel up to it!
On Friday or Saturday night, team games and charades can be arranged.
A Dart Board will be available.
Fancy Dress (if you feel like it).
Plus a Barn Dance on Saturday night.
You can pick and choose your activities to suit yourself!
Help needed - Join the Team
So that Rachel and Mark are not left with all the work, we would like to form a small team to cover:
- The Events (Cycle ride [Becca?])
- The Catering - Joy & Martyn - any other offers to help them?
- A dance, possibly in the barn
- Someone to keep an information board of events up to date
- Teas and other drinks - Arthur & Ruth.
- Treasure Hunt - Martin.
- Walks - Joy & Martyn.
- Mailing - Anthony.
- Rachel and Mark will oversee it all.
If you are willing to help will you please let Anthony know.
Accomodation
Pitches are available for camping. Rooms at the farmhouse are available for families with small children, if they have no tents. A crèche will be available on Saturday morning. If it is wet, we are considering the possibility of hiring a local village hall. (12.30-4.30).
To cover the cost of a marquee (if there are large numbers), the cutlery, the crockery, the food and other incidental expenses, we will have to make a small charge for the weekend.
The price will depend on the number of people who come but will probably be between £15-£30 per person, children half price. Infants under 5 will be free.
This will cover all food requirements from Friday evening until Sunday lunch + picnic - what a bargain!
